Send A Smile 4 Kids is a charitable organization created for the purpose of collecting donated handmade cards to be distributed to children while they are inpatient at Children’s Hospitals. On any given day, there are many children inpatient in these hospitals so we would love to receive as many cards as you can send to cheer them and their families. The kids may also use your cards as a thank you to the nurses and doctors and to give to parents or relatives on special days like birthdays or Mothers or Fathers Day. The parents can also use the cards to give to their child. Any cards appropriate for children are welcome including Holidays, Birthday, Thank You, Uplifting Encouragement (kid appropriate), Thank You and no sentiment at all can be used for any occasion. NO GET WELL CARDS PLEASE.
I am a volunteer for SAS4Kids (Send A Smile 4 Kids) accepting your hand made cards for 120 kids at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children (Philadelphia). I also accept cards for 72 kids at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey, PA. Please visit SAS4Kids website to find out the guidelines and for the mailing address. Go to “A Little About Me” page to see how I got started.
Your kindness and cards are greatly appreciated and serve a wonderful purpose.
